Sean plays with Caribbean Sound, a group featuring steel pans, for orchestra artists series, educational programs, and concerts. Shown here with the Lousiana Philharmonic Orchestra in New Orleans, 2004, they have also performed with Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Jacksonville, Florida; Rockford Symphony Orchestra, Rockford, Illinois; Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, Owensboro, Kentucky; and Coastal Symphony of Georgia, Brunswick, Georgia.

Sean has worked with the band as a substitue bassist since 1988, and became a full-fledged member in 1999. Led by Barry Olsavsky, low lead and double seconds, other members are Mike Wilson, triple guitars; and Danny Stimpson, drumset and percussion. Sean plays electric bass, trombone, bass pans, and various percussion instruments. They perform an eclectic mix of predominantly original pieces, with some classical, jazz, pop, and the traditional steel pan favorites. Caribbean Sound plans to release its sixth major CD in early 2008.
